Will Black LPCC, ADDC

Life’s challenges - stuck in self-defeating cycles, feeling lost navigating uncertainty, grieving loss - are unavoidable, but not impossible to overcome. Facing these barriers can be overwhelming, but you don’t need to walk it alone. By your side, my role provides guidance and support and for you to create lasting meaningful change.

My therapeutic approach uses a trauma-informed foundation to create a safe and collaborative environment. By holding space with acceptance, this non-judgmental framework allows my clients to develop greater understanding and self-compassion. We work together to go at a pace that’s sustainable to address your needs effectively.

My primary areas of expertise include substance abuse, trauma, depression, eating disorders, family systems, and men’s issues. I obtained my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regis University and Bachelor’s from the University of Denver. I trained at the Odyssey Training Center completing my Licensed Addictions Counselor coursework.

Beyond my clinical counseling background, I incorporate several somatic mindfulness based practices into my practice. I completed my Yoga Teacher Training in 2019 and facilitate restorative practices in Yoga Nidra, iRest, and Yin.

I believe change is possible for all, regardless of circumstance. This conviction developed working with individuals throughout all stages of their recovery journeys includes, both in-patient treatment centers, individual out-patient and leading groups.
